My name is Hallie, and I am a recent college graduate living and working in Santiago de Compostela, Galicia, Spain. Though originally from Shawnee, Kansas, I studied at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California, and since graduating, have found my way to Spain.

2020 was a whirlwind of a year, but it ended with the surprise announcement from Fulbright that I had been promoted from "Alternate" to "Finalist" for the English Teaching Assistant Program to Spain.

I will be here until June 2021, and to share some of my experiences, I wanted to create these monthly newsletters for family, friends, and anyone interested in following along with the journey.
